i purchased the 1 yr kit. i think it is expensive but it does come with a lot of parts you will need to keep your vacuum running for years. but there are some other parts that it comes with that i dont see breaking over the years, but i guess it could. i would rather buy all the parts now for a lower price per item than buy them individually because it would be more expensive per part and the shipping costs.
