Dit apparaat is geen "fire and forget"-item. Je moet het instellen, gegevens verzamelen en kijken of het opnieuw gepositioneerd moet worden. Ik heb er een paar en ik vind ze fijn. Ik moet er een paar opnieuw positioneren omdat de wind dingen buiten het doelgebied verplaatst. Verder ben ik tevreden.

Net als het laatste item dat ik kocht, heeft de bewegingssensor een heel duur, hoogwaardig gevoel. Hij werkt heel goed en was heel makkelijk te installeren. De infrastructuur van de software betekent dat de sensor eenvoudig andere Switchbot-items kan activeren als aan bepaalde voorwaarden wordt voldaan. Bijvoorbeeld als er na middernacht niemand in de kamer is, start dan de robotstofzuiger. Als Switchbot nou eens een mooie grote alarmsirene zou verkopen om met de sensor te werken.
