Ik heb drie SwitchBot rolgordijnen gekocht voor de glazen schuifdeuren naar onze veranda. Mijn grootste zorg was om ze netjes te laten snijden, zodat de snijrand niet golvend zou worden, en SwitchBot heeft geweldig werk geleverd door een oplossing te leveren die dat zou voorkomen.
Ze waren makkelijk te installeren, werkten meteen goed en ze zijn precies wat mijn vrouw en ik hadden gehoopt. We zijn allebei ontzettend blij met onze aankoop en zouden ze zeker nog een keer kopen.

Geweldig idee, maar betere instructies nodig
Ik vind het idee van een geautomatiseerde rolgordijn die een eindgebruiker zelf kan aanpassen aan de gewenste maat geweldig, maar de instructies waren lastig te volgen, vooral op een klein telefoonscherm zonder de mogelijkheid om de video volledig te bekijken. Er waren een paar plastic onderdelen waarvan het onduidelijk was of ze moesten worden bewaard of niet, en zowel de stapsgewijze instructies als de video gingen over dat onderdeel heen. Als gevolg daarvan is mijn rolgordijn nu een paar centimeter smaller dan het raam. Het duurde een paar uur voor ons tweeën om het geheel te installeren. Nu ik er een heb gedaan, zou het sneller gaan om er meer te doen, maar we wilden er gewoon een om mee te beginnen om te zien hoe goed het werkt. Mijn Google Home kan het zien, maar kan het tot nu toe niet instellen op een percentage open of dicht zoals mijn gordijnen. Een goed begin, maar moet nog wat worden opgepoetst.

De installatie was in het begin wat lastig, maar toen we het eenmaal onder de knie hadden, verliep het soepel. Mooi ontworpen en doordacht! Het duurde ongeveer 40 minuten per kap met 2-3 personen. Ik zou graag zien dat er XXL- en XS-maten worden aangeboden, samen met meer verduisterings-, aangepaste stoffen- en topcoveropties.
Ik heb er twee geïnstalleerd. Na de eerste was de tweede supermakkelijk. Ze werken geweldig, net als de gordijnen. Ook de vrouw is erg blij.

Erg blij met mijn aankoop. Hoewel de verzending MAANDEN langer duurde dan verwacht. Ik ben erg blij dat ik heb gewacht op deze redelijk geprijsde opties. Ik wou dat er minder ruimte was als ik het buiten het raamkozijn monteerde, zoals te zien is in promotievideo's en foto's. Dit is misleidend.
