Was looking for a second vacuum robot, this time with a mopping function. I already have the K10+, it is now running in the basement and the new S20 is on the ground floor. The suction power is really strong, almost too much at max, normal or high is completely sufficient and saves battery. One battery charge can handle approx. 100 square meters for me without any problems.

I tried it for about a week and couldn't be happier. The 10,000 Pa of suction force can be felt all right: I put it to the test with the most diverse types of dirt to vacuum and it has never disappointed me, almost always at the first step it collected everything with remarkable effectiveness, even on carpets where the previous model struggled more.

Very good! The mop roller theme works much better than the previous mop we had. It cleans much more constantly and “scratches” more dirt from the park.
The robot itself is more chubby, but unless you have limited space I don't care because it has much more power.

I've been using the SwitchBot S20 for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it's completely transformed my cleaning routine. Especially with my kids, I'm always needing to vacuum and mop the floor.

This was my first floor cleaning robot, so I was a bit nervous about ordering it. It arrived well packed, but the setup took a while as there was no instruction manual! Anyway, there are some good videos on YouTube. Unfortunately, it came with an EU plug instead of a UK one for my area. This product felt solid and of good quality, and connected to my Wi-Fi and to the app no problem. It is quieter than I expected, and moves around pretty quickly.
It did a good job of mopping my very dirty floors, but the vacuum missed a lot of smaller pieces of dirt. I have some glass panelled walls, and this confuses the S20 as it can't detect them, so I had to manually block them off in the app.
The only real disappointment was that it didn't come with any spare consumables apart from a very small bottle of cleaning solution.
But overall, I am very happy with it and the scheduled cleaning routine keeps my floors looking good.

Ich nutze den SwitchBot S20 jetzt seit einiger Zeit und bin sehr zufrieden. Schon beim Auspacken merkst du die gute Verarbeitung und das schlichte Design, das trotz der Größe der Station kompakt wirkt. Alles macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Der Roboter und die Station kommen wie von SwitchBot gewohnt sicher und stabil verpackt an. Die Ersteinrichtung über die SwitchBot App ist einfach, Schritt für Schritt erklärt und in wenigen Minuten erledigt. Auch das erste Mapping der Wohnung geht schnell und zuverlässig.
Der Roboter bringt 10000 Pa Saugleistung mit und die neue Gummibürste verhindert, dass sich Haare oder Schmutz festsetzen. Auch die Seitenbürste ist neu konstruiert und verheddert sich kaum. Das ist praktisch, wenn du Haustiere hast oder viele Haare herumliegen. Die Wischfunktion ist deutlich verbessert. Mit 1 Kilo Anpressdruck und 300 Reibungen pro Minute wird der Boden spürbar sauberer. Die RevoRoll Technik sorgt dafür, dass der Mopp während des Putzens ständig gereinigt wird. So verteilt er keinen Schmutz wie einfache Wischroboter.
Die MultiClean Station ist das Herzstück. Frischwassertank 2,7 Liter und Abwassertank 2,5 Liter sind groß genug für mehrere Reinigungsgänge. Nach jedem Einsatz wird der Mopp gründlich gewaschen und bei 50 Grad Heißluft getrocknet. So entstehen keine Gerüche und auch Schimmel hat keine Chance. Der Staubbeutel reicht für ungefähr 90 Tage, was den Alltag enorm erleichtert. Die kleine Diatom Matte im Boden nimmt zusätzlich Restfeuchtigkeit auf.
Im Alltag zeigt der S20, was er kann. Hindernisse bis 2 cm schafft er mühelos, Spielzeug oder Kabel erkennt er und umfährt sie. Teppiche werden automatisch erkannt, der Mopp hebt sich an und die Saugleistung wird hochgefahren. Auch in dunklen Räumen navigiert er zuverlässig. Die Karten sind schnell erstellt und du kannst in der App Räume individuell anpassen. In der App gibt es viele Einstellmöglichkeiten wie die Stärke der Wasserabgabe beim Wischen, die Saugkraft, Reinigungspläne oder No-Go Zonen. Alles, was man von einem modernen Reinigungsroboter erwartet, ist vorhanden.
Das Modell ist zudem zukunftssicher. Matter 1.4 wird über ein kostenloses Firmware Update im Verlauf des September nachgereicht. Damit lässt sich der Roboter direkt in Apple Home, Alexa oder Google Home einbinden. Für ein Gerät dieser Preisklasse ist das ein klarer Pluspunkt.
Im Vergleich zum Vorgänger S10 ist die Station nun kompakter, weil Wasserwechsel und Staubabsaugung in einem Gerät vereint sind. Das spart Platz und macht den Aufbau einfacher.
Negativ ist, dass die Eckenreinigung nicht immer perfekt ist und der Moppbereich bei sehr häufiger Nutzung leicht riechen kann. Außerdem wird die Feuchtigkeit von der Rollwalze nicht gleichmäßig auf der ganzen Breite verteilt. Wenn die Walze trocken ist, geben die Düsen das Wasser nur punktuell ab und auch auf dem Boden sieht man dann zunächst Streifen. Das war schon beim S10 so und konnte mich bisher nicht ganz überzeugen. Zusätzlich ist der Roboter bei der Arbeit, selbst auf Standard Saugleistung, ziemlich laut. Auch das Drehen der Mopwalze ist mit ordentlicher Lautstärke verbunden. Und selbst der Trocknungsvorgang dauert mit Standard 4 Stunden nicht geräuschlos. Das Gebläse läuft zwar gleichmäßig und stört weniger, doch die Walze dreht sich dabei in Abständen mit deutlich hörbarem Geräusch. Da kann man nachts schon mal aufschrecken. Für eine Schlafzimmerecke ist die Station deshalb nicht die beste Wahl.
Unterm Strich ist der S20 ein ausgereifter und durchdachter Roboter mit starker Leistung, guter Verarbeitung und einem eleganten Design. Er nimmt dir fast alle Arbeit ab, bietet viele Möglichkeiten zur individuellen Steuerung in der App und passt durch die Matter 1.4 Integration noch besser in ein modernes Smart Home.

Silencieux et autonome, le S20 permet de ne plus avoir à s’occuper du nettoyage des sols ni même d’entretenir trop régulièrement notre robot. Le seul bémol est dans la position de la bosse de nettoyage qui ne va pas jusqu’au bord des murs, mais c’est un détail.
